NATURAL LAW

Natural Law  teaches us that there are certain universal rights endowed to humanity by our creator.  Also from a secular perspective Natural Law Tradition teaches there are certain universal rights intrinsic to human nature and discoverable through reason.

 From a biblical study natural law is demonstrated through the words of Jesus Matthew 22:37-40

 "Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets."


This message is often referred to as the Golden Rule . Gold is considered incorruptible physically and symbolically used to represent purity and permanence. The Golden Rule of loving thy neighbor as thyself Is a universal truth found across cultural traditions.
